Timber Pest Inspection and Report. (Termites/borer)
Your normal building & contents insurance does not cover damage caused by termites.
Carrying out pre-purchase timber pest inspections is a complex task laden with heavy responsibility.
Realistic inspection fees allows inspectors to spend more time on site, making a more careful and detailed
assessment of the building and producing accurate reports purchasers can rely on.
All pre-purchase timber pest inspections should be completed to Australian Standard 4349.3-2010 by a licensed, experienced and insured Timber Pest Technician. The technician completes a visual inspection of all accessible areas of the property with the obligation of detecting the presence of current and previous Timber Pest infestations and damage. The inspection results are then specified in detail in a comprehensive written report as per the Australian Standard including all findings, damage and Timber Pest conducive conditions followed by all recommendations (chemical and non-chemical) to remedy infestations and/or prevent future attack.
